Immunization shots are essential to protect ourselves and loved ones from life-threatening diseases. With proper immunization, the chances of contracting measles, rubella, hepatitis B, mumps and the flu are greatly reduced. Immunizations are important for adults but can be even more important for children.
As an added convenience to our clients, we can do most common lab tests in-house. This means that patients won’t have to drive to another location for tests to be conducted and results are available quickly. Sleep studies are non-invasive and require overnight monitoring. By undergoing a sleep study, patients can give their doctor the insight needed to determine if sleep disorders are affecting deep, restful sleep. Throughout the night, the patient’s brain and body activity will be monitored.

Hormone therapy is traditionally defined as the use of hormones for medical treatment. Typically, individuals will begin losing specific hormones with age. As these hormones are lost, many different unwanted side effects will become more prevalent. Hormone therapy counteracts this by replacing the hormones that are being depleted.
Female Hormone Therapy
After your period stops, hormone levels begin to fall. This can lead to symptoms such as hot flashes or the development of osteoporosis. To counteract these symptoms, hormone therapy treatments replace lost hormones with estrogen and progesterone which are no longer being made within the body.
Hormone therapy can help menopausal women take control of their symptoms. Though hormone therapy isn’t recommended as a long-term treatment, some women may require longer treatment times due to symptom persistence. It is important to talk to your healthcare provider to determine if hormone therapy will work for you.
Male Hormone Therapy
After peaking in the late teens, testosterone levels will begin declining at about 1 percent yearly after reaching age 30. This can cause problems since testosterone is required for reproductive function, muscle bulk, sexual development, bone density and red blood cell levels. Don’t let low testosterone keep you down anymore.
Men suffering from hypogonadism or testicular functionality failure are most likely to benefit from male hormone therapy. Men suffering from low testosterone symptoms who have had their testosterone levels checked may also benefit from hormone therapy. It is important to talk to your healthcare provider to determine if hormone therapy will work for you.
